We’re Growing! See Why G. Fedale Should Be Your Next Place of Employment

Within a marketplace that’s struggling to woo back customers post COVID lockdowns, we here at G. Fedale are in a growing phase! This strategic move is a thoughtful decision: we’ve always prioritized customer service, and any growth is a measured reflection of that service. We are actively recruiting and are hopeful you’ll consider us as your next place of employment.

The year began strong, said CEO Adam Fedale, then COVID hit. “Those first six weeks were scary,” he said. But summer storm damage and pent-up demand from housebound homeowners has helped us rebound. “Our team has worked really hard this year. We have our hearts set on growth,” he said.

Why work for G. Fedale? Tangible rewards like a pay scale that strives to stay ahead of the marketplace – we adjust accordingly to industry standards – are just a part of the benefits package here. Awards and accolades from suppliers and industry associations offer further evidence of our company’s superior reputation. And the intangibles, things like workplace culture, supportive co-workers, and community service speak volumes.

We value family – yours, and ours – and are proud of the family atmosphere that we’ve built through the years. Our business is family owned – three brothers, Glenn, Allen, and Adam make up our leadership team, cousins and in-laws work here too, and of course, Glenn Fedale Sr., a.k.a. Popa G is an integral part of the team as well. Strong leadership was what prompted our employees to nominate us as one of the state’s top 60 workplaces in the News Journal. The annual compilation placed us at number six out of a grouping of 37 small businesses in Delaware. According to the News Journal, the companies (large, mid-sized, and small) were selected solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.

Sales Estimator Scott Henning has been with us for several years. Among what he appreciated most as a new hire was the team attitude. “Jake, the sales manager, even though I was training, was always there to answer my calls and help out. It was never a situation where people say, ‘That’s not my job.’ …Helping your fellow employee is a common theme,” he said, adding, “This is a career I can be proud of.”

Scott is also quick to point to the culture of the company as one of its hallmarks. The company and its employees uphold a philosophy where doing the right thing even when no one is watching, runs deep. Customer service, of course is the top priority, but so is service to community. Henning oversees the Habitat for Humanity account. Food drives, and an annual Roofs from the Heart giveaway are among some of the other ways G. Fedale acknowledges a community that has likewise been supportive of the business through the years.

“It’s great to be a part of an organization that you know is trying to make an impact on the community,” said Adam.
